How Wedding Memory works
Three steps. Five minutes. Every memory in one place.
Create Your Album (2 minutes)
Sign up with your email and set a password. Enter your names (e.g., "Sarah & Michael") and your wedding date. Your album is live instantly at a web address like sarah-michael.wedding-memory.com. Share the link from the moment you have added pictures or videos to chapters like "How It All Began", "The Big Question" or "Engaged!". You'll also get a downloadable QR code that links directly to your album for the big event.
What you can do from your dashboard
- • Upload professional photos and videos
- • Organize content by chapters: Ceremony, Reception, Speeches, First Dance, and custom chapters
- • Choose a color scheme to personalize the look
- • Download and share your QR code
Share the link. That's really it.
Your album is live the moment you create it — so share yournames.wedding-memory.com as soon as you're ready. Drop it on your save-the-date, slip it into the invitation, or add it to the wedding website you already have. Guests can start exploring before the wedding day even arrives.
Signed up closer to the date? No problem at all — just send the link in a message or drop it in the group chat. "Here's our wedding album, check it out" is all you need to say.
Save-the-date
Printed or digital — add the link
Invitations
Printed or electronic — a line at the bottom is enough
Group chat
WhatsApp, iMessage, wherever everyone already is
One message to everyone at once
Word of mouth
Tell them at the rehearsal dinner
At the venue, you can also display the QR code — it's there if you want it, and some guests will use it on the day. Download it from your dashboard and put it somewhere visible. But your link is what reaches everyone: before the wedding, after it, and anyone who wasn't in the room.
It's Already Happening.
As guests open the link or scan the QR code at the venue:
- Opens instantly in their browser — No app to download
- Enter a nickname — No email, no account, no login — just once
- View professional content — Organized by chapters
- Upload their own photos and videos — From camera roll or take new
- Leave comments and react — Heart, laugh, wow, love, celebrate
- Everything in real time — Visible from your dashboard
Your photographer can upload too
Set up your album yourself in 2 minutes — then share a private collaborator link with your photographer or videographer. They upload their films and photos directly, without needing a full account or access to your dashboard. Their content lands in its own dedicated chapter, alongside everything your guests contribute.
If your photographer or videographer already uses Wedding Memory, they may set the album up for you and send you your personalized link ready to share. Either way, the result is the same: professional content and guest photos in one place.

Common questions
Does it work with spotty wedding venue WiFi?
Wedding Memory is optimized for mobile networks. Guests can upload on cellular data (4G/5G) if WiFi is unreliable. Photo uploads are typically small enough to work even on slower connections. For large video uploads, the platform uses multipart uploading that resumes if the connection drops.
What if guests don't have a smartphone?
The QR code is just a shortcut to a web address. Any guest with internet access can type the address (yournames.wedding-memory.com) into any browser on any device — phone, tablet, or computer.
Can guests use it after the wedding?
Yes. The album stays active for 12 months from the wedding date. Guests who didn't contribute on the day can open the personal link or scan the QR code anytime to add photos, videos, and guestbook messages.
How many guests can use it at once?
There is no limit on the number of guests. Wedding Memory is built on Cloudflare infrastructure designed to handle concurrent users. Whether you have 30 guests or 300, everyone can access the album simultaneously.
